Nice one Francis and Seth. I remember reading Donella Meadows’ book about 9 years ago. While it is decidedly engineering-ish, it was extremely useful for me. It taught me how to articulate a kind of stuck-ness that comes from being within the system, wanting to change it, but unable to access a vocabulary from outside with which to pry it apart. Seth’s book does something similar with less mechanistic examples. Both terrific books, and a very compelling conversation here.

Thoroughly enjoyed your discussion with Seth Godin!
