Strategic Planning Won't Be the Same. Ever.

The CSRD webinar is over but the replay is now available

If you missed the webinar, you may not have hard the breaking news emerging from the CSRD regulations. But you want to be in the know. Here are some highlights and a link to the webinar replay which will be up for a limited time.

• CSRD is mandatory and will have penalties for non-compliance as of 2025.

• CSRD applies to all companies who do business with the EU directly, or even have EU corporate customers.

• CSRD requires the public disclosure of key elements of companies' strategic plans and business models.

This is the first time such regulations have been applied to this kind of non-financial information.

You may find some of this alarming, especially if you don't belong to a big company with its own internal army of CSRD professionals. 

But I do my best to explain the changes to strategic planning being called for, but they are vague...and will continue to be changed and refined.

The intent of all this is perfectly understandable and serves us all. But I'll show why this doesn't appear to me to be the handiwork of strategic planners, and why.

Plus, I will suggest a path forward to avoid Greenwashing.
